Illusions, The Adventures of A Reluctant Messiah and Bridge Across Forever by Richard Bach are two of the best, I have a hard time with this because I love to read and I have read some great books on different subjects. Anyone who hasn't read these should, very good.

Some people many not read so many books these days but there are many people that do. I for one live in my books i must have 500 books on many diffrent topic's. I have over a 100 books on the witchcraft and things a long the same lines. some books i could not be without and many i use for reference. i have so many good books but i will list four that i think are very good.
1/ ( Mind magic) By Betty shine. A great little book on changing the way you look at lifes problems and in turn helps you deal with things in life.
2/ ( Cunninghams Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs) By scott cunningham. possibly one of the best of its kind. With over 400 herbs from every day herbs to unobtainable plants. a great guide to Magical herbalism.
3/ ( Where science & Magic meet ). By serena roney-dougal. One of the best books i have read. on closing the gaps between magic and science and shows how magic realy works. with indepth knowledge on Quantum Physics and how to use Energy to make physical change. It offers good answers to cover ground between ancient wisdom, spiritual traditions and new sciences.
4/ ( The Magic philosophy ) By melita denning & osborne phillips. This is five books and i will list them.
I/ Robe and Ring. About the philosophy of the magical arts and the ethics of western Occultism.
II/ The apparel of high magic. The symbolism of the magical arts and the material Keys.
III/ The sword and the serpent. Cosmo-Dynamics the Qabalistic Keys.
IV/ The Triumph of light. The high Mystery of the psyche, the microcosmic Keys.
V/ Mysteria magica.
These books are a complete system of knowledge, Rituals, and exercises effecive in the development of true magical power and of magical understanding.

[glow=Purple,2,300]I really enjoyed "The Craft" A Witches Book of Shadows by Dorthy Morrison. When I first purchased the book about 3 years ago I couldn't put it down for anything until I had read it from cover to cover. I believe I even took notes from the book. It started out with Basic Wicca and then it went into different sections. Candles, Trees, Stones, the tools, sabbats, and it just totally engulfed me. I loved it.
I think another book that caught my attention like that was "Solitary Witchcraft" by Silver Ravenwolf. I read some of her other books that I did not enjoy as well but I really did enjoy this one. It had a little bit of everything in it.[/glow]

I don't have favorite books...I have favorite authors. I find one I like then I have to have all the books by that author. Anne Rice #1 Kelly Armstrong #2 Alice Borchard #3 (Of course I love her...she is Anne Rice's sister. The same writing style.)
I have written a couple books of my own...fiction...nothing published...but I am definately not my favorite author.
Dragon...I would love to spend in a week in your library if that picture is any idication of how many books you have.

Not everybodies teste but still great books in there own rights.
1 ( WITCHCRAFT & BLACKMAGIC ) By Montague Summer. It's a celebration of times past. based on the religion of wickedness and malice a real treatise of the cults of hell. The writer made a lifelong study of the black arts and examines Witchcraft and blackmagic of the past. this is one great book.
2 ( AT THE HEART OF DARKNESS ) By John Parker. also along the same lines Witchcraft, Black magic and Satanism this book is one of them that give you may short stories on real life happenings and has some fantastic infomation. If this is your thing, it's a must have book and will open your eyes to many truths and help you discover hidden facts and cover up's.
3 ( THE SATANIC BIBLE ) By the black pope him self. Anton Szandor LaVey. One hell of a good book and cover's every thing you need to know about satanic workings. Gods, Devil's, New satanic age, hell, Vampire, Human sacrifice, Life after death, Black mass, theory and practice of satanic magic, Lesser and greater magic, satanic ritual's, Invocation to satan, conjuration of destruction. OH yes this book has it all and is writen so you can follow and understand it with out all the confusion.
4 ( THE NECTOMANTIC RITUAL BOOK ) By Leilah wendell. Great little book and a breath of fresh air. Start's at basic's and take's us to real necromantic ritual's. This book is beautifull to look at with every word in old English writing and celtic board's on every page. Its overall presentation and detailed information on a subject that is very misunderstood makes this one book that you should not miss.
lol aislinstorm. i do love my books and i can be very protective of them But im sure i would let you take a look. hehe
