Born On Halloween
If a child is born last day of October, he or she will be gifted with psychic powers, and be able to see, and converse with the spirits of the dead. Those born on Halloween has been said can never be harmed by evil ghosts.
What do you believe? Have you heard any other Omens like this?

That reminds me of the child poem - my mom used to say it too me when I was little.
Mondays child is fair of face, Tuesdays child is full of grace, Wednesdays child is full of woe, Thursdays child has far to go, Fridays child is loving and giving, Saturdays child works hard for his living, And the child that is born on the Sabbath day Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay.
There are tons of things out there for predicting the personality or future of a new baby. As for what I believe, I think there are some correlations to when a baby is born (birth order, birth month/sign, day, etc...) but the influence is minimal. A child will be what it will be.

My grandfather on my biological fathers side was born on Halloween. Although something happened at his birth (from what I was told-it was not genetic) that made him short but he got by just fine and was quite strong in being a mover of furniture-he and his wife had 9 kids too. Unfortunatly he passed away a few months before I was born but was told I would have really liked him-and even though I have nothing to do with my dad for good reason (his son) I always thought that he looked over me I'm a Monday's child too-yea!

My birthday is the 6th of October and all my reoccuring dreams have come true. I stopped having them though and that is one of the reasons I am discovering a path. Also I am very luck at lotto. especially on my birthday.

I am an October 12 baby...though it has been a long time since I have been a baby. LOL. The only time I have ever been lucky with lotto is on my birthday. Halloween is always my favorite holiday. I have not been able to dress up the past couple of years because of work, but I always try to have a little something special for the kids on that day.

Oh geez this is a little off topic but I grew up in Oregon and I had to move to Mississippi and in the particular county I lived in one year Halloween was on a Sunday and they moved it to Saturday but I didn't watch the news because I couldn't understand the accents half the time (really I was trying to learn though) and we missed it. Then on Halloween my husband went to get bread and can you believe it they were having baptisms in the street. That was crazy I never want to live in that part of Mississippi again!

I know what you mean...they change the day here as well...If Halloween lands on a Sunday they will announce in the paper that trick or treating will be held on Saturday. We never do the trick or treat thing though. I always buy a bunch of candy (so I know it is safe to eat) and rent a bunch of bad scary movies. The kids love it. Even my 5 year old love to watch them.
