Merry Meet to everyone. I am not quite used to this yet, but I was asked to introduce myself. Well here I am. I will give it a try.
I, like you, am Wiccan...I have not really practiced for a very very long time. Most of the people I have either dated or were married to were very upset by it...so I just didn't do anything. When I got together with my husband he was sooo accepting that I was not sure what to think at first. I have spent most of my life hidding what I believe so I wouldn't lose jobs, and such. He wanted to broadcast it all over the place. Over the last six years I have realized how open he is to this way of life. The Witches Community is reteaching me things that I lost a long time ago. I don't even remember how to set up an alter.
About just me...I am 34 years old...live in a small town in Idaho, and have four wonderful little boys...Well, I guess not all of them are little anymore. They are 14, 12, 10, and 4. Yes I have been buisy the last several years. HAHA. I spent 9 years working for the local school district before getting tired of how things were going, and left. Now I work for a convenience store and for the county juvenile probation office.
Merry Meet to you all. I hope this is what you were looking for.

Thank you for the introduction. You will find that everyone here is very open and share as much as they have to offer about the craft, and we hope to help you grow and learn. I too have spent many years "in the shodows" practicing in closets and such so as not to upset anyone because of my beliefs. After a while I started to realize that if people really wanted to know about us then I would educate them the right way and try to dispel any fears or disillusionment that they had about us (of which I'm sure you know there are many). Now that all of my friends truly know who I am and what I stand for I can stand proud as a Pagan and be happy with who I really am. It is nice not to have to hide any longer.

Thank you very much Krystelynn...I really appreciate that. It is nice feel welcome.
A little story about disillusionment: My husband has a lot of friends that are Mormon...he used to be himself...as Yule drew closer my husband said we really should celebrate it this year in our way...so he told his friend that he was cancelling band practice for that reason. Normaly they are all very accepting of our life...but this guy...he actually laughed at us and told us to have fun rubbing our stones together...when I asked what he was talking about...he said he had to go all of a sudden.
He is one of those people that make others look at us like we are freaks.
