What type of Witch do you consider yourself? Merry Meet, This is [glow=red,2,300][/glow] a post done b/c most people ask...."what color witch are you."~ so Fallen and I are trying to make it easy to identify each member. We are finding it's not so easy to use the colors on Witches.....and in Wicca/Wiccan they have a different type of labeling~ If you have any ideals on this we would love to hear them~ I understand for seasoned people in the craft it's hard to put a lable on us, that's why I will get all the different colors and definitions up so you can see where you think you most fit at. We all know that the definitions will not fit every member~ but we are trying~

I think if we go from White as a beginner,Green,Gray or Red, I guess I consider myself a Gray or Red because I do Spell Casting. I will get all the different colors and definitions up so you can see where you think you most fit at.

hmmmm, this is a really good question because it makes you think about what level you are really at. For instance, I know I am a pretty advanced student. I usually know what I'm talking about, and I think my knowledge covers a lot of topics and areas.....but I also don't have a lot of work in Spell Casting. I just don't use it that often. So, would that make me Grey then I wonder?

Well where to start..I guess I would think of myself as Red..Due to I was born into this way of life..I work with healing energy..I work with nature energy.I work with the spirit world,,I cast..I teach..I learn..I do my own spell work..I have my own little witch's garden..I work spells in coven and in my kitchen..To me a witch's work is never done..we work where we are needed..I may be wrong but to me a witch is a person that gives of themself's to help in anyway that is needed...as long as it harm none..the law of 3 must stay in place..To me we are extentions of the great Mother and Fathers hands and those hands are gentle and caring and loveing..Blessings be with all..

Honestly..I have no idea what type of Wytch I consider myself. I have done one or two rituals, no spell casting. Only reading the books. So I have no idea what I consider myself.
Blessed be Lord Osran

Merry Meet lord Osran, We all start out at White, and the more we learn then we move on to other roads or paths it leads us to where we are meant to go. some people have massive knowledge in many areas but still chose to be called white. Blessed Be Gypsy

If I had to catagorize myself then I would say I was between Grey/Red. I am very much a Kitchen/Hedge Witch with many years practice but as all of us,I will never stop learning. Mind you, if some of my family had their way I would be titled "The Wicked Witch of The West! lol Blessed Be Ayleen x

Well met my friends, I would mostly, by your tomes be a red witch, nocturnal in nature and in craft. I also, so have bounds in shamanism, though I follow the path of an Eclectic Witch, My heart is pure Welsh Gypsy

:)WELL, I DON'T LIKE TO THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH I KNOW, BECAUSE THERE'S ALWAYS SO MUCH MORE TO LEARN...... BUT I HAVE WRITTEN AND CAST MANY A SPELL.....I'VE BEEN TRAINED WITH ENERGY USE. I'VE HEALED MANY AN ANIMALS AND HUMANS. I GROW MY OWN HERBS. SO WITH ALL THAT I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THAT I'M AT A GRAY LEVEL WITCH. AND I SAY THAT BECAUSE IN THE TIME I'VE HAVE OFF, I'VE BECOME RUSTY ON ON SOME THINGS. I READ A TON OF BOOKS BEFORE I EVER CAST A SPELL, AND THEY WHERE FROM EVER KIND A MAGIC OUT THERE!! SO I'M A ECLECTIC WITCH THROUGH AND THROUGH.. BLESSING TO YOU ALL. WILLOW

What kind of witch am I? hummm.... I don't really know. I believe in creating my own path, so I learn through trial and error. I can visualize pretty easily, but have only recently had it have an effect. I do rituals with a group and have been to several gatherings with other groups. I haven't done many spells, but those I have done, I have written/created. I always claim that "nothing ever happens to me" but I think that may not be true - I'm just either so used to it or so clueless that I don't notice. I have tried to read tarot cards, but don't trust that I'm any good at it and now I'm working on runes. I don't have a garden - no time (and I'm afraid of bugs). I don't consider being a witch as something I do, but something I am and the way that I live. So...What kind of witch am I?

Based on the definitions given, I would say that I am eclectic and solitary. The ability to connect and share with others through this forum is invaluable for me.
I absolutely loved the post from the Almanac - I answered yes to all but one, like so many of you...it's that materialism question (smile).
Blessings,
Pye
